Update from our President

Hiya folks!

We have been hard at work revamping the Crawford County Art Center and want to update you on our happenings!

We’ve added new members to the Crawford County Art Council Board of Directors and established committees to focus on programming, membership, finances, and communications. We also hired a new Director, Kaylee Powers, to lead the Center.

With some organizational changes and our hard-working volunteers in place, we did a spring cleaning of our supplies and reached out to other local organizations to learn what gaps we can fill to better serve the community. We also upgraded the Center with new technological enablement for classes and lectures!

We upgraded the Center, its presence, and our team- and now we turn our focus to you, our heart blood, our raison d’être. The renamed Crawford County Art Center is your center!

Memberships are now granted on a 12-month rolling basis, meaning your membership will last for a full year of time instead of ending with the calendar year. You’ll receive the same discount on classes you received prior, as well as gallery display and retail gallery sales privileges. Additional membership perks are in the works!

We hope you’ll join us for our Diamond Anniversary member-exclusive Gallery Preview Night on September 29th, from 7 PM to 9 PM, at the Center, and/or on September 30th from noon to 4 PM for the public unveiling and celebration of our anniversary.

It is an honor for us to have served you for the last 10 years, and we look forward to many more classes, events, and local artist exhibitions.

Stay creative,

Joe Graham,
